World War I, and the Battle of Vimy Ridge in particular, signify major chapters in the development of the Canadian national identity on the world stage. Join Jamie Swift, of Queen’s Smith School of Business, for a discussion of the notion of “Vimyism” and its impact upon our current views of Canadian history in the 20thcentury. This book club event, held in conjunction withPrintmakers at War, 1914-1918, will be followed by a viewing of the exhibition with its curator, Dr. Jacquelyn N. Coutré.
