Join us for a Philosopher’s Café on the topic of war, peacekeeping and Canada’s military. This event will feature Major Brent Beardsley, who served 32 years, around the world, as an infantry officer in the Canadian Forces. With his experience, including as the military assistant to General (now Senator) Romeo Dallaire of Canada before and during the genocide and civil war in Rwanda, Major Beardsley will offer a unique perspective on the issues raised by the contemporary art in the current exhibition, Terms of Engagement: Averns, feldman-kiss, Stimson.
