MEDIA ADVISORY FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

PeaceQuest to Announce Major Kingston Remembrance Day 2018 Events

(Kingston, ON) Members of PeaceQuest will announce a series of special events, including an international visiting guest, to be held in Kingston to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War in November 2018. The events will attract people from across Southern Ontario and Quebec, who will join with Kingston residents in discussing the significance of the Remembrance Day Centenary, and how Canada can contribute to global peace-building.

PeaceQuest is a non-profit, non-denominational, and non-partisan organization based in Kingston. It supports and facilitates peace-building initiatives across Canada. It was founded in 2012 to commemorate World War One by organizing events that emphasize peace — a value that, its members believe, Canadians cherish. http://www.peacequest.ca
