A Toronto mosque will welcome the LGBT and wider community for Ramadan feast. The mosque is hosting its 13th annual Peace Iftar at sunset on June 19. Iftar is a meal that is eaten at the end of a day’s fast. Learn more about the event on CBC here.
Tonight, A vigil will be hosted for the victims of the Orlando shooting in Kingston at Springer Market Square tonight at 8PM for all who wish to attend. You can RSVP to the facebook event here.
Tonight in Winnipeg, Pride Winnipeg will be holding a vigil on the steps of the Manitoba Legislature on Monday, June 13th at 8:30PM as an act of solidarity and tribute to the Orlando LGBTTQ* community. There is no posted facebook event for this vigil that we could find.
