CBC’s Sunday Edition Negotiates with Terrorists
“Without communication, we will never end conflict.”
We are always pleased to see discussions on peace in national media.
This morning, CBC’s Sunday Edition had a splendid interview with British Diplomat and author Jonathon Powell. In it, they examine the term “terrorist” and ask if if it even useful in international relations. Drawing from his wealth of experience in international relations, Powell argues that negotiating with terrorists, no matter how irrational they seem, is ultimately the only way to move forward. You can listen to the full interview on CBC’s website here. Enjoy!
