Become a PeaceQuest Faith Community!

many faiths

Bring some additional peace to your faith gatherings by becoming a PeaceQuest Faith Community! This interfaith program is designed to give diverse faith communities more opportunities to get to know eachother in the spirit of peace and deeper understanding.

After months of careful discussion and consideration, the PeaceQuest Faith Communities Brochure has been released! Please share far and wide as we encourage more faith communties to get to know eachother in the spirit of peace and diversity.

PeaceQuest Faith Communities are simply faith spaces or faith communities which dedicate additional programming to peace and peace-building activities. Upon joining, PQ Faith Communities have access to all sorts of resources and materials that we offer to support peace building work in your community!

Want to get more involved in interfaith community building? We invite you to consider joining the PeaceQuest Faith Stream. With rotating chairs at rotating locations, at these monthy meetings we share news of events and activities in our communities and plan new events designed to engage and inspire. We would love to have representation from all faith traditions!  The next Faith Stream meeting is Wednesday November 18th at 3pm at the Sisters of Providence Motherhouse at 1200 Princess Street. Please RSVP at admin@peacequest.ca

A NOTE ABOUT THE COVER ART:

We do not own the image on the cover of the brochure, nor have we been able to locate the name or family of the artist. We would very much appreciate any help you can offer to help us contact them. We have been greatly inspired by their work and though we have not generated any income from the use of this image – we feel it is very important to have the blessings of this artist. We understand that respecting them and their family means that we may be asked to stop using this image – which we would be happy to do. At the time of this posting, fewer than fifty copies of this brochure have been published.
