- Not starting a program like that, but he really likes that model
- Peace signs project- social media. Get pictures of prominent figures (mainly mayors) making the peace sign to say they support Peace.
- Will have a twitter event on Jan 15- everyone tweet peace signs
- Not sure what doing with the hype though, still working on visioning

- Stirling has connections to Muslim community

- Need a catalyst, something to work for
- Nurtured- needs to make people feel good
- We want people to feel good about making peace, not get burdened down by negativity. We want people to feel good at our events! Get energized!

- Part of it could be non-violence training
- More and more scholarship on nonviolence that is successful- disseminate?
- Be aware of potential of nonviolent tools and analytical frameworks to talk about this

- Didn’t have the best spot because we registered late, so there wasn’t tons of traffic. Got 6 new emails and 1 potential new member
- Kingston covered printing- awesome! Dwyer helped cover cost of booth

- School board or union office? Might not be neutral enough to invite teachers from both Catholic and Public school districts
- CPA could be better, either community education room or Fretz room?
- Dwyer met a singer named Jack Cole, does a good rendition of Waltzing Matilda, could be good for November 11th or for the workshop

- Emily is in touch with someone at Mennonite Central Committee to discuss involvement, as they produced a peace education resource last year

- Do we want to have a interpersonal nonviolence workshop that we bring to schools?
- Tony offered to present the workshop if others can organize and contact schools, he has background in counselling, conflict resultion
- Are there already a lot of other groups doing this?
- Once a month Christian Peacemaker Teams does workshops on nonviolence in high schools
- Peace camp does workshops in schools
- PeaceWorks is looking to get involved in schools
- Project with Ziauddin Yousafzai to work on peace curriculum
